Fishing St. Joe Bay and The Cape.

Post by Russell3 »

Fishing St. Joe this weekend and was just wondering if anyone can give any pointers. Gonna also try some surf fishing on the Cape also if anyone wants to give some advise there. Will be down there for 3 days and hope the bite is better than it has been at St. Marks lately.

Good luck getting a spot in the bay this weekend, it will be crowded. Try the grass flats for trout around Blacks Island and Eagle Harbor. The redfish are in hiding and have been really slow. Get to the ramp early or you will be caught in a cluster of pontoon boats, jet skis, and south Georgia calamity. (j/k boys :-D )

Would we be better off putting in on the cape? I thought there was a landing in the part there?
