My 1st Redfish

Went out yesterday in search of my first redfish. I have pretty much been strictly a bass fisherman until i got the chance to go redfishing so i took the chance! Caught 3 redfish (15 inch, 26 inch, and 28 inch), about 8 trout, a makeral, a rockbass, and a ton of damn blue fish. But i completed my task of catching a redfish so i was happy with the day! They were like a bass on steroids. Would put a picture but i dont know how...if someone could fill me in there it would be much appreciated!

Welcome to the addiction, i call still remember my first red. That was probably 15 years ago and I can still remember what I was fishing with that spot, everything about the fight like it was yesterday. Now my next goal is to try and get one on fly.

Yes that sounds like it would be fun. Im going out Thursday again hopefully to catch some more of em!
