Reef Donkeys out of Mashes 5-23

Post by Reel Country »

Left Mashes Sands at 6:30 yesterday w/ Rich Pouncy and Lyle Floyd on Rich’s Proline in excellent conditions. Flat calm. We ran to the shoals first in need of some livies to feed to the hungry fish later. We managed to pick up about 3 dozen baits(including; pinfish, spottails, pilchards, pogeys, grunts, black pinfish  & hardtails).

We ran to the 1st stop. We ring the dinner bell and throw the chum over the side. We wait. We wait some more. Where are the fish? This spot is guaranteed. “Hey Lyle, this pond is empty, let’s move to another spot,â€

Wow. A lot of folks fish a lifetime and never have a day like that. Don't take it for granted  :D

SR,
We surely won't. Last time I had a day like that was when I was in college. I won't quit trying though. :-D
