me too, and I've never tried to weigh one....but they claim the world record is 5 foot.... I don't know what's up with that either.
In the early 70's there was a shark fishing club that had tournaments here. (Capital City Shark Hunters)There were numerous 8-9 foot long 400 plus pound nurse sharks brought in.
