we got a good rain last night in Pelham

MORNIN ALL, WE GOT ABOUT 1/2 " OF RAIN LAST NIGHT, TOO LITTLE TOO LATE FOR THE FARMERS IN THIS AREA. TOO LATE TO REPLANT, WOULD BE A FOOLISH MISTAKE SINCE WE DO NOT HAVE ANY SUB-SOIL MOISTURE. ABOUT THE ONLY THING LEFT FOR THE CORN FARMERS IS TO CUT THE WHOLE PLANT AND MAKE CATTLE FEEF OUT OF IT.
