Anything Available This Weekend?

Post by Bailey »

I know it's a long shot, but my weekend plans fell through, and I'm now scrambling to find a place near the water for the weekend. I can only come down on Friday/Sat, and need to leave on Monday. I've searched from Keaton to Mexico Beach, and the only places I see available require a week stay. It's probably not a fishing weekend, probably more of a family beach get away. So, if anyone knows of somewhere down on the coast that's availabe that I can take the wife and kiddo, please let me know!!

Try the Port Inn at St. Joe. It is right across the street from the public landing.

You could always try the Buccaneer Inn at St. George (or the St. George Inn if they'll take you). But honestly, the Buccaneer Inn isn't all that bad for two nights. It's not dirty at all, yes there may not be many amenities, but you're a 30 second walk from the beach, restaurants are everywhere around you, and the boat landing is three minutes away. Don't let safety be a problem....because it's not one :D

I'm sure you can find a Barrier Dunes unit on Cape San Blas. Not sure if my parents is rented, but here is the link.

Have you checked around St. Teresa Beach or Alligator Point?

Thanks for the replies so far. I checked around Alligator Point but could only find one inland one around Sun N Sand. I was hoping to get one closer to the beach.

Chris, check here. http://gulfcoastrentals.com/florida/all ... rpoint.htm I clicked on a few of the three bedrooms and were suprised that quite a few were available. Even though they say a week, if its not rented out yet, I bet they would still give you three nights at the last minute. A coworker did that week before last, called and asked to have it the next night, even asked for off season rates and got it. This is the iste I always use when I rent down there.

Thanks Travis, looks like Debbie may still have some available. I was thinking about trying some place other than Alligator Point, but may not be able to find anything.
