Had a chance to hop a ride with MHNewell and LiveLine on Sunday. This was the first time in a while I went fishing on someone elses boat and I had great time. Not having to worry about everything that goes along with planning a trip was a breath of fresh air. It was also great to fish with two guys that had as much experience on the water as these two. I learned a tremendous amount from both Harris and Brent.

We stopped at a couple of the pinfish traps and loaded up with those, ranout and picked up a bunch of razor bellies, that's what we always called them, and hardtails. Then ran to Otower and picked up a few sardines.

We headed out from O and made our first stop in about 85' where we picked up a few short and a couple of keeper Red Snapper and a Keeper Grouper. At the second stop we did the same thing. At the third stop Harris picked up a couple of 9#+ Red Snapper, beauties to say the least and I saw a show on the bottom machine that I haven't seen in a long time.

Total for the day was:

9 - Red Snapper
2 - Keeper Grouper
1 - 17# King Fish.

Give the lack of water movement, the anchor rope was straight down at every stop, we had a fairly good day.

Harris thanks for having me aboard I enjoyed the trip greatly and look forward to fishing with you again soon and you to Brent. :smt042
