Had a great time this past Saturday in the bay finding scallops. It was hard work at first only having 12 scallops with 6 people fishing in the first 3 hours and to make matters worse we had to deal with what seemed like hurricane Andrew coming in from the Gulf. After bilgeing out the boat we started looking for them again. After we got on them it was only a matter of time before we had our limit. Found them on the east side of Blacks island in about 3-4 foot of water in grass with some sandy spots. I hope this helps to anyone that plans to go this weekend. Hopefully the weather will be a lot better for you!
