Yep, because that cooler weights 32 lbs, dry. I love the looks and fine qualities of the Yeti, but because of how well it is constructed it is heavy. This means that it will stay put better where you set it, but lifting it full of ice and fish out of a boat ain't a simple matter. It would take two pretty spry old guys like me or maybe one real fit young guy with a real strong back.

The tradeoff is what we know: they keep cold longer and resist breaking.
