Saint Marks Trout Fishing
Hey guys. Hope everyone is doing well. Thinking about trying to slip out tomorrow or Wednesday and head to Saint Marks. I have not been able to go in a long time and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on where the trout may be right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Probably 4-6 feet, patchy bottom, live bait, and lots of patience. It is tough right now.

YOU WOULD PROBABLY DO BETTER TRYING FOR BLACK BASS IN FRESH WATER IF YOU KNOW WHERE THERE IS A DEEP FRESH WATER LAKE NEAR BY.

Thanks for the advice guys.
I hit the water at St. Marks around 9 this am and headed out for a much needed day on the water by myself. Headed east towards the Aucilla. Stopped about halfway to the Aucilla and started fishing some grass flats in 4-6 feet of water and immediately hooked up on a short trout on a Glow Shad Gulp. Caught two more short trout and decided to try some deeper water after a little while. Moved out to 8-10 feet of water beyond Peter's Rock and unfortunately answered my phone. It was work related and it was going to put an end to my day of fishing. I had only about 15-20 minutes to fish before I had to leave to get back for a meeting and landed 3 keeper trout in that time period!! All were cought on a New Penny shrimp under a Cajun Thunder (first time i tried it all day).
Anyway, weather was great, water was very flat and was able to land 6 trout, 3 of which were keepers. Hated to leave early after finding the fish but sometimes you got to go when called. It will give me an excuse to go back...
