Carrabelle question
Is there a public ramp in Carrabelle with a dock or a place where you can tie up the boat while you park the truck when fishing alone? I don't recall any where to tie the boat at the ramp we used during the NFGFC except at the marina (and I suspect it's private)... Coming down in the morning and would rather not have to pull up on rocks or oyster shells unless I have to.

Pretty sure you can leave it in the water at the Moorings, if you're staying there.

JT's talking about the Lanark Village Boat Club ramp, just behind the new Village Mart. It's $10 to launch there and $10 more for overnight dockage. Good ramp, docks and plenty of parking, but don't leave anything on the boat overnight. In the past there's been cases of stuff driving off down Hwy. 98 in the middle of the night if it's not locked up.
Re: Carrabelle question
Not staying overnight, just gonna fish Friday.. Only been to Carabelle once and want to check out the canal again...should be there around 0600 so maybe I'll find a place to park at the ramp. Thanks for the replies.
