Doak Campbell Seating Question

Post by big bend gyrene »

Brother is a FSU grad and a baptist preacher in Indiana. Few weeks ago he wrote and asked if I could line up tickets for the Maryland game, as well as put him and my nephew on some fish! With distance keeping us from seeing each other more than once every few years, I'm looking forward to obliging both requests.  :D

Not yet looking for tickets -- instead just wanting to know what sections of the stands are most family/kid friendly? Know students/band have lower side/endzone sections and guessing want to put a bit of distance between them and my brother's son who is about 8 years old. Looking at the online seating chart found at http://www.seminoles.com/tickets/tix-stadchart.html guessing sections at Gate C and D may be best bets? Any inside scoop will be greatly appreciated!

Student section is on the east side of the stadium, and endzone. Band & overflow seats are in the opposite endzone seats. You will want to sit on the west side, and the closer to the middle, and field the better the clientele that you will be sitting with. That said, there are still no guarantees you won't have a foul mouth drunk in the crowd :-D

If it is a day game definitely try for the west side high up and toward the middle. Some excellent scenery on the east side but the sun can be brutal.
