St Marks Scalloping

Went to the same spot as last weekend and it was the water was not clear enough to even think about the depth we found them in. We ended up in 3-4 to even be able to see the bottom well, it was like scalloping in the Miss River. We wound up with enough to eat, but they were few and far between. Got one little pocket of them, cleaned it out and came up and saw the storms had us circled and buzzed in for Shields. had fun, was probably the last scallopin trip of the summer, time to start fishing again.

we had the same results on saturday. We tried spots all around and in the rock garden. I had good luck in 3 feet where I was brushing the grass tips, but my crew didn't like it that shallow, they had better luck in 4-5 feet, but they had to dive and search instead of find and dive. Total we had about 3 gallons for 4 people over 4 hours.

As luck would have it, we also blew a tire on capital circle on the way home. Not a huge ordeal, but I had to drop the trailer and run home for the spare and tools. Looks like I'll be adding that spare to the trailer now, as well as replacing the remaining original tire.

Who around here has the best deal for replacing a trailer tire?

I got a great deal on trailer tires at Tire Kingdom on the Parkway next to Wal Mart.
Told them I was a NFGFC and BBF member and they cut me a deal.
They've got my business.
The wife of one of the BBF members works there, can't remember her name.
