Looks like Irene might not let any of us play this weekend. Hoping that's not the case, but it's looking ugly for Friday pre-fishing anyway.

That storm could wreck my strategy. A really hard rain might wash off all those spots I was going to paint on the redfish.

If Lin weighs a fish in this Shootout it will be the first Shootout he has weighed a fish.

Lin is fishing with a Callahagn, Liam I think, so I assume he'll have some nice fish.

Miles probably won't...

He is fishing with Jason and Jason can't catch anything under 20 inches. At least according to his picture post.

Hope NOAA's current predictions are incorrect. :smt012 Can't troll for trout in 3 to 4 footers. :smt012 :smt012

Maybe we'll get lucky, cap'n. But it's chunk and wind, regardless.

All fish must be caught on rod and reel. No line (mono or braid) restrictions. Live, dead and artificial baits are permitted. Treble hooks are permitted for LURES ONLY. No treble hooks are allowed for live- or dead-bait fishing. All fish must be caught alive in a conventional sporting manner. Trolling as a method of fishing is prohibited. All anglers must fish from their boat – wade fishing is prohibited. No fishing of pre-baited holes or holding of holes at anytime. No outside assistance whatsoever during tournament hours. No marina fishing, pet fishing or fishing boat ramps. Tournament officials may come aboard your vessel and inspect at any time.

Looking forward to this tournament. Without a big trout to count, the whole field is in this one. They should have gone ahead and just made it the "trout with the most spots" wins

Any tournament official comes aboard my 11 foot canoe and we're both going swimming in the creek.

Uh huh, plant the seed and then when the tourney officials come on board and swamp the canoe, you'll be wade fishing. Pretty crafty strategy there, Gary.
