night time shrimp boat
Anyone have a boat riged for night time shrimping with a dipnet?
Re: night time shrimp boat
I used to do it all the time when I lived in Titusville.
All you need is a couple of long handled small mesh dipnets and one or two of those underwater crappie lights they sell at walmart.
Now I have no idea where you would dip shrimp around here.

I think with trout the lights at night are great but it tends to work when the light is in the same place every night. So just going out one night and dropping the light might not work as well as a dock that is consistently on each night.

Hey all, I'm working on a story about shrimping in this area. Let me know how you do it here. I'll make you a star...sort of. Seriously, lots of people have asked about shrimping, and I've only done it on the east coast. Send me a PM or an e-mail (Gerardigb@aol.com
