Hurricane Irene
I have a rare chance to get out on the water on Saturday. Anyone have an estimate whether this storm will have any effect on the winds and fishing by then? Some of the fringe is radiating out over South Florida, I am hoping for some rain up our way later tonight.

One website shows 2 to 3 foot seas or more all weekend. Where is the best site to check?

You can use these sites:
http://www.windfinder.com/forecast/shell_point
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.ph ... mx=1&zmy=1
They are as good as any I guess.

Darn it, just saw the marine forecast, 20 knots from the west means a no-go for me.
