Minn Kota I-Pilot
Starting a Christmas wish list early and I need a new trolling motor for a 16ft Scout. Has anyone upgraded to the I-pilot system from Minn Kota and how do you like it? Does the anchor feature work well? Thanks,

Do a search, MT, and you'll find several threads on the GPS trolling motors. Bottom line is the anchor feature and track functions work very well from my tests with the iPilot and Rhodan.

Juan person I know of would give it a thumbs up.
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.

I second the "best addition" comment.... the spot lock feature is awesome and the advanced autopilot is pretty sweet as well.... just point the trolling motor in the direction you want to go and it adjusts to wind, etc... very cool feature... you can adjust this feature (speed & direction) without it coming out of autopilot... I'm still learning everything on mine, but so far it's been awesome!
