It’s been a couple of weeks since our last trip but the fishing remains great! We had 3 great mornings (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) of catching. Everyone caught their fair share of redfish & we also had a few trout for the cooler.
First trip for Greg but he was able to “man up”. The reds were all good fish as well as the trout. The trout were the good ole fat oyster bar trout. 25”, 24” 23” & one 20”, as well as 4 @ 18”. Reds that ended up in the cooler went from 25” to 27”.
All fish caught on live pins off oyster bars while wading.
We had an audience for a good portion of the time. There were a few people in boats around us but they watched from a distance. They weren’t willing to exit their boats, probably since the gray suits again inhabited the area.
The fall fishing is ON!!!!!!!

There should be plenty left for eveybody. We released many more fish than we kept. You may have to be willing to get out of the boat to get 'em, though.

Luc was home for a quick (2 hr.) trip Friday morning. We saw you guys walking amongst the sharks. We had places to go, so we decided to leave you to it, or we would at least have said hi (and see what you were doing). Neither of us thought it was your boat. Maybe it wasn't.

Yeah, we either are fishing out of an 18' Sea Chaser w/ a T-top or out of an 18' Key Largo (no T-top). We were on the Key Largo this trip. It would have been good to see you guys & talk to you. Hope you & Luc are doing well.

We were both looking to recognize the T-top. I wanted to try in there since your last post, after I saw you before. "Captain" Luc had other plans, and then our time got cut unexpectedly short. We were "nearby", catching catfish and bait, then headed east. In the limited time I managed a short flounder, and a keeper trout and red, all released. We were away for the weekend. Luc also didn't think it was you because he didn't think you get down that often.

We'll "catch ya" soon.

Bartman & I get down to St. Marks about 8 to 10 times per year. Most of it is in the fall when the reds are thick. We have 2 more trips planned for this fall - in 2 weeks, then 2 weeks after that. Maybe we'll run into each other.
