Four on da Fly!!!
Well thanks to TS Lee my trip to Panama City last week was not that great so I'm back on the Freshwater Bones here in KY this weekend. Today was the best day I've had on the water since I've been chasing these dudes!! Not sure if it was the cooler weather and water temps, but they seemed a little more aggressive going after the bug and didn't spook with closer fly placements.... I'll take it!

Carp are cool! They just aren't that photogenic. Kind of like sea trout. The pictures look bad, but "in person" it's a pretty fish.
First freshwater fish I ever caught on a fly was a 7# carp. Have loved carp ever since.

My little brother Chalk has always been a little "gone." But the fellow can dang sure catch a Redfish! Course he had the best teacher, his Dad. Bet you thought I was going to say me didn't you Chalk? No, I just taught him about catching trout, and oh yea, the best rocks to knock the foot off your motor at the Enconfina River.
Brothers, that's the most butt ugly redfish I ever did see on this post.
