I'm following your lead, JT. I caught a flounder this evening and I'm hopping for some more tomorrow morning.

Ok Steve, waiting on your report. I know we were in the same boat as you yesterday so your version of the story and mine and Will's should be the same. Oh yea, don't leave out the part about the Coast Guard.

this should be good. Lets hear it.

Well, this is my version of the story. Steve said he was going to post a report about our non eventfull trip to Lanark but I guess he is busy working or just can't come up with a good story. Will and I met JT at Lanark Sat morning 7:05am for what all fisherman think is going to be the best day ever fishing. It turns out to be overcast and windy but we head out and try to catch a few fish along hwy 98 while waiting to see if we can get to a few spots over at Dog Island. A few sailcats later and no trout or reds, we make our way across to DI, spot #1, and about a dozen drifts JT catches about five sandtrout and Will lands a good spanish with a few breaking the line and getting the lures. (spanish, ladyfish) JT swears they were gatortrout  , We go to another spot and Will lands a good slot trout @18 1/2", awhile later Will hooks another good trout and it gets off after a few good pulls, I hook another good trout for about ten seconds and that was it for the rest of the day. While we are hooking and losing trout we are also watching the Coast Guard Cutter cruising nearby checking boats. They finaly send a crew over to us to do a boat safety check. Happy to report all was in order, Steve told them he wanted to see them write me up, :-? Steve said that he put us on the fish all day long but we didn't know how to catch em, not sure what he was thinking but then again, I never know what he is thinking. Had a good time fishing with my son Will and good ol JT on Sat. Beats cutting grass.

The only way your gonna put somebody on fish would be to put a pin fish in their back pocket and tell em ta "sit down"!!
