YOU KNOW THE COFFEE SHOP IS WORSE THAN THE BEAUTY SHOP. I, CHALK-SR, SAID THAT J.R. SAID THE BRIDGE REPAIR WOULD HELP HIS BUSINESS AND THAT THE SIGNS WE SAW ON 98 STATED THAT THE BRIDGE WOULD BE "CLOSED" ON 10-03-11. FUNNY HOW THINGS GET TURNED AROUND FROM ONE MOUTH TO ANOTHER. CHALK-SR.

Re: aucilla bridge
I really found it hard to believe that DOT would close 98 for any lenth of time.

Re: aucilla bridge
Normally, FDOT will construct a temporary bridge and divert traffic while the new bridge is under construction. They will not close major highways for any length of time, especially in low-lying areas during hurricane season. Any consultants / construction companies working on a FDOT project have to submit a traffic control plan - showing how they are going to keep the roadway open while they complete the road work.
I don't think this will have a big impact on our fishing or JR's business, but if you need to get more details, FDOT District 3 will be completing the work. They can be reached at (850) 638-0250.

It appears to me that the question posted was an attempt to get the facts straight!jafman65 wrote:bridge is still open and a temp bridge is going in and jr is not closing. come on FHC get your facts straight.
And like old women at the beauty shop, panties get in wads when things get miss-understood...CHALK-SR wrote:YOU KNOW THE COFFEE SHOP IS WORSE THAN THE BEAUTY SHOP. FUNNY HOW THINGS GET TURNED AROUND FROM ONE MOUTH TO ANOTHER. CHALK-SR.

It will be ok ladies... No worries... Bridge or no bridge fish will still eat!
