Put in at the Fort around 7:30 am with Will and Michelle, about twenty boats already out. headed for the lighthouse to a strong wind but still fishible in the river. Caught a small flounder, large gar, small lady fish and lost a small trout. All on cut bait and gulp. Went back to Riverside Cafe, tied up to the dock and had a few
and burgers. Ready for a decent weekend to fish.

Thats all I needed to hear, thanks...I just went on weather.com and saw 14mph winds in Tally and didnt know how it usually affects Talquin, but im gonna give it a try

some guys showed me a pretty smooth trail along the shore to get to around the stumps, but i will be careful, thanks. im not even sure how much fishing well do...we just want to get out on the water to forget about this horrible football game we just witnessed
