Well it has not been scored or I can't find a current list, but this deer should make it.
Deer was taken with a ML on Saturday morning at about 9:30 AM. It was shot at about 120 yard walking alone a grown up field next to some 2 year old cutover.
The deer was taken from a common tower stand that belongs to the club that was put up this Summer. Actually this was the first AM hunt from the stand.
Deers live weight was 172 lbs and showed no sign of the rut, which didn't surprise me. Both beams were 22" with a spread of 14.5" sure not a B&C, but a sure good one for our area. Deer is a main frame 10 with short brow tines, but has a couple stickers off the base, I really would not count them, but you could say a 12 point. Can't really see them on the trail picture or down shot.
Here is a before picture: Deer was taken about 3/4 mile from this picture

Here is the Saturday picture:

This was a good celebration for our club, the members there when I arrived after lunch on Saturday were as happy as the guy that took the deer. Actually one member seemed to be happier.
I showed the picture to our landowner and he told me about his neighbor (his house is about 50 yards from out property line) told him last week, he had been getting pictures of a 11 and 12 point in his back yard. This guy does not hunt or allow hunting.
The ole boy I got a week or so ago was about 2 miles from that spot, so we might have a least 3 more good ons walking around.
PS, the guy in the picture is a Fl native that now lives in Atlanta
