Which agent? I have State Farm with Sharon and they took care of me great on my only claim. I reported it on Monday and Thursday, I had a check for the damages.
Easy to deal with and fast.

If you're with the other agent, I can't say but Sharon has always taken care of anything I needed.

I hit a rock a number of years ago at Aucilla and bent my SS prop, plus cracked the lower unit on my Johnson 90. State Farm paid for a new lower unit and refurbed the prop, I paid the deductible and that's all. Good service then from SF. One note, if the prop is SS and not too far gone they will want to fix it, and it has to be sent away for that. Nobody here, I think, can do it. That takes a couple of weeks. When it returned, it was better than new and worked great until I sold the motor.

Luck,

EJ

Only had one where I had insurance. Slammed my lower unit. Allstate was quick to respond. Quickly responded with a reminder that I had a $500.00 deductable. Bought a used lower unit for my 1989 90hp Johnson for $500.00.

HEY SALTY GATOR, DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A SUNKEN BOAT IN THE LIGHTHOUSE CHANNEL, WHERE IS IT AND WHEN DID IT GET THERE? COAST GUARD SHOULD BE NOTIFIED AND HAVE IT REMOVED. IS IT MARKED WITH A BOUY?

I got that as well but when that's what you agree to, then you agree to it.

Futch. If your coming out of the channel it is to the left just before you hit the river channel. It used to be marked with a PVC pipe, but it is gone. We fished it a few weeks ago looking for sheephead and the pipe was gone. At low tide it is visible, not at high tide.I think it has been there for as long as I've fished the area(7yrs). I marked it On my gps last time and may be able to pull the numbers up. It is a nasty obstruction.

If the pipe is gone it sure needs to be marked again.I always thought it was concrete.

I AM AWARE OF THE OLD STEEL BOAT AT THE END OF THE JETTIES, THOUGHT IT WAS MARKED WITH A PVC PIPE, GUESS SOMETHING HAS KNOCKED DOWN THE PIPE.
