Still not as silly as the one a few years back when one of our local guys on a private pond became so angry at his retriever (I think it was eating the ducks) that he chose to disipline the dog by delivering an "axe chop" with his 20 ga. (grasping the barrel and whacking with the stock). The gun of course discharged through the meaty portion of his thigh and gave him a permanent limp and a serious lesson in anger management. Very lucky to have come through it at all.
