Noticed a crack in a weld on the poling platform and with some charters coming up, I needed to get it fixed fast. Called Porter's Marine (Mr. Wavel Porter) and he worked me in while I waited. He re-welded the platform and soldered my stern light wiring within an hour and at a great price, too. Very nice, professional work.
If you need aluminum welding, outboard repair (Evinrude/Johnson, Yamaha) or other marine repair, consider Mr. Porter in Woodville. 850-421-1490.
Great service with a smile, plus a story or two.
Thanks Mr. Porter (and thanks JT for the recommendation).
Shout out to Porter's Marine

You are welcome.
Did he tell you that if it breaks again it will be a new spot and not where he welded?

No, he didn't, but I don't expect any further issues. It broke where I had drilled a hole to thread the large connector plug for the old GPS antenna. Not enough metal to stand the flex, but it's rock-solid now.Jumptrout51 wrote:You are welcome.
