Tacklebox Found!

Post by fishinfool »

ATTN ALL BBFN MEMBERS AND FRIENDS

Went fishing with a friend this morning. We arrived at the lighthouse ramp a little early(no water, negative tide). We went to breakfast and returned, still no water. My buddy tied a couple of lures on and then we had the bright idea of going to the Fort. When we got there he noticed there was no tacklebox in the boat. We think he may have left it on the rear deck of my boat and it fell off on the way. This is a large box.It is not likely it blew out of the boat.
It is a Browning Tackle Box. not the bag. It is the typical Browning brown fabric around a hard shell. There is a reward for the safe return of it. My buddy has a copy of his fishing licence in it for I.D. purposes. Please e-mail me or send me a PM if you find it.
I thank you and my buddy thanks you.

Man O man, what a downer! I've done other things like that before and it makes you feel....well, unhappy.

Hope some honest person finds and returns it. To find it and return it to the rightful owner would be enough reward for me.

Sorry for your friends loss.

Sorry for your loss. Hopefully somebody will get it back to you. Ask Jumptrout51 what happens when you leave one on the back of a pontoon boat sometime...He has a good story.

Tackle Box Found

An honest and kind visitor of the refuge turned the tackle box in before my buddy and I got back from fishing. He will be picking it up tomorrow from the visitor's center. Thanks to everyone for reading and looking out.

To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.

Actually I should not say that.
When I lost a tackle bag with hundreds of dollars worth of tackle and electronics in it "a fisherman" found it and used the GPS to locate me and return it.
