2012 NFGFC tournament schedule poll

The upcoming April tourney if held on the first Saturday will be Easter weekend, the next weekend is April 14, which is the Redtrout Shootout, so the question is would it be better to have our club tourney on March 31 or April 7 (Easter weekend). I don't know if anyone usually goes out of town or anything so please if you are planning on fishing the tournament give us your opinion to help us figure this out.

The Redtrout has been scheduled for awhile now and it's never been an issue about it being on Easter Eve.

when will the upcoming schedule be out ?just wondering so i can schedule some time off to fish some of them this year and is next months going to be a trout or redfish tournment.also if a redfish how many will we weigh in since the limit will be going up too.?

I vote for March 31st, but will fish either date.

The rest of the tournament schedule is pretty much settled. All NFGFC members please pick a date so we can finalize the schedule for the year and get it sent out.

Wait a minute, I did win a 50.00 Kevins card at Carrabelle last year and the year before my partner cast right where I told him that there was a big red: that red won him the big redfish for the year and a nice Matthew's Custom fishn Stix as a trophy and also just for entering the tourn. I had a winning ticket for a Falcon fishing rod !!! So, you see I'm a WINNER !! PS Thanks Kevin's, Matthew's Fishn Stix and all the other sponsors that support the club !! Looking forward to this year

I vote for for April 7 cause it looks like a marginally better tide than 3/31, but I don't feel strongly about it.
