Fishing yesterday with Tommy and Will got interesting.
We started fishing about a half mile from the intended spot waiting on the tide to rise.
As the tide moved,we moved.
There were many boats around us.
We picked up a fish here and a fish there.
We moved in towards our chosen spot and stopped about a 1/4 mile away.
There were 6 boats between us and THE SPOT.
No one was fishing THE SPOT.
We saw the other boats catch maybe 3 fish while we waited for the opportunity to move past.
We carefully and quietly used the trolling motor to manuver past the 6 boats.
Once on THE SPOT we put 5 trout from 19-22 inches in the boat in less than 3 minutes.
There were fish on and fish in the net at the same time.
We looked behind us and all 6 boats had moved in to within one cast of our boat.
All the boats had 2 people except one boat with 5 people.
Two of the boats did as we did and anchored up and were catching really good fish.
The other boats kept drifting through us and then motoring back to drift again.
We fished there about 2 hours.
Got there with 5 trout and left with 15.
After counting our limit we continued to catch and release about 20 more.
All these fish were 18 1/2 or bigger.
We only had one red on the boat and wanted more.
We left that spot and moved to another that should be holding reds.
No reds there.
We released another 10-12 good trout.
Then we went home.

Re: THE SPOT
I agree with TF, posting the exact coordinates of said "SPOT" would be required to verify the story.
