Does anyone have any experience fishing down in Curacao this time of year? I've got to head down there at the end of the month for a week and thought I would try my luck while down there (most likely in the evenings after work), any advice, etc. would be appreciated. On that note, any advice on what to do/see (not do/see) would be appreciated as well.
Thanks,
Chris

Chris,
Haven't fished Curacao, but I have all around the island. Tarpon and snook should be both be good. Wahoo, dolphin and sailfish near shore if you get a chance to get on a boat.
Go to SaltWaterSportsman.com and do a search. Might pop up something. You might also Google Curacao sportfishing to see what is available.
Or you could call Andruw Jones, the former Atlanta Brave and see what he recommends. He's from the island.
Have fun and give us a report.

Heck yeah, bag carriers, net men, etc, come on with the come on, maybe ya'll can get some fishing done. Unfortunately, I'm going to be stuck working during the day, but am hoping to do some type of fishing in the evening, we'll see how that pans out.
SK, thanks for the intel, I'll follow your lead on that. I had searched Curacao fishing on Google and saw some stuff, but it was more about daytrips, etc. My problem is I am boxed in on both sides of the trip with family obligations (dang it's rough trying to be a responsible parent.....), so I can't extend my trip out to take advantage of the situation. If I can work in some evening fishing and get my hand on an authentic Cuban cigar to go along with it, I will consider that a sure nuff bonus to a work trip. If not, I heard they have a distillery down there, so I might just have to drown my sorrows.
I forgot about Andruw Jones being from there. Man, that guy was sure nuff a stud for the Braves at such a young age.
