Remington 870 Shotgun

Post by Fishbster1 »

I am selling my shot gun. I shot skeet with it 1 time, that is it. Gun is like new condition. I have 2 questions that hopefully I can get answered from someone on the site.
1. Is there any paperwork that I need to fill out for the State of Florida? or can I just sell it?
2. What is a reasonable price for this gun?
I appreciate any information that someone may have.
Thank you,
Billy Miller

This should give you a decent idea of the worth  I've never filled out any paper work on any of the guns I have ever purchased from an individual

My dad always told us to keep a record of our firearms and when we sell them, get the name and address of who we sell them too. He had an FFL and you just never know. You do not need to do it, but it could save you some aggravation later.
On the price: $50 to me.

To anyone else, check out Gunsamerica and see what they are selling for.

Model is 870 Express Super Mag, 3 1/2 inch Chamber, 26 inch Barrel, Synthetic Stock. I got that info right from the owners manual.
Thank you for the help!

I have a gun shop in Cairo and I would sell that gun in great condition for $300.00. We sell them new for $399.99. On the paperwork issue, there are no legalities on an individual sell, but I would suggest a Bill of Sale with serial and model numbers.

You can sell it to an individual as long as they reside in the same state as you. Interstate sales must go through a FFL
