St. Marks 1/31/12

Post by tin can »

Went winter time exploring today. Not a stellar day but I did manage 1 22" trout and 3 reds. Problem was, none of the reds were keepers. :-D

Everything worked. Nothing broke. It was a good day.
What was I supposed to do today?

YA LUCKY JOHN, I PULLED MY BOAT OUT OF THE GARAGE AND WAS GONNA RUN IT A FEW MINUTES, GUESS WHAT, I NEARLY RAN MY BATTERY COMPLETELY DOWN, DAMN THAT ETHANOL, EVEN AFTER I HAVE BEEN ADDING THE SEA FOAM, MY ENGINE ALMOST DID NOT START. FINALLY GOT HER RUNING. I HAD PLANNED TO GO OVER TO IAMONIA AND RUN IT, FORGOT, THERE IS NOT ENOUGH WATER TO LAUNCH MY BOAT OVER THERE. I SURE HOPE WE CONTINUE TO GET GOOD RAINS TIL OUR LAKES AND PONDS FILL BACK UP AGAIN.

Sounds like you had a good day. I like exploring days sometimes, they can make later trips very successful.

"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

You, Sir, know that I have a fine saltwater boat. It just hasn't been run for a while. And sometimes saltwater is a means of a relaxing day of fishin. I don't relax much when I go freshwater. I have to concentrate on whippin' Mr. Parkway Marine. ;-)
What was I supposed to do today?
