St. Mark's River...2/6/12

Post by FishingPadre »

Still a little slow on the river today, was out between 11-215pm...not the best hours I realize. But we did bring home two decent trout, one 18in, the other 19.5 inch. We caught one on our last cast that was larger than the other two...but I lost him trying to get him into the boat....he looked well over 20in. Reached in to snatch him out of the water and the leader snapped. After a few expletives were uttered between my companion and I...I decided that I need a landing net for sure!

Blessings!

Well Padre, God forgives expletives while fishing. Especially when you lose a big one.

To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.
