St Marks Saturday

Post by CaptReelThyme »

Played a little hooky, and was able to get out with Salty Gator. We went up the the St M river at safe light. Put him on a couple of my spots. Three nice keeper trout. Not one redfish. Wind had laid down all morning till we made the call to hit the east river. Made a few casts and nada. Went back up river, ate a killer Cuban burrito with the misses pickled okra, drank a beer or three, shared a story and then packed it on in. Wasn't a great day, but had absolutly no expectations, better than being at the place that pays the mortgage....tight lines y'all.

Good report and thank you. Some days you don't limit out but you wasn't skunked! Being on the water and fishing with a friend is worth a lot. Catching fish is icing.
