Favorite inshore time and place???

Just an opinion question...if ya care to share, list your Favorite inshore fishing area and what you consider the best 30 day window.

Place: Keaton Beach
From The dogs head to Spring Warrior

Time: March 15 thru April 15

Just seems like the fish are everywhere, I can work EXTREMELY shallow with soft jerk baits out to about 5 feet with popping corks or jig heads with gulp.....if the weather is right it just seems as if any pattern will work well

From Palmetto Island to Big Redfish Point. I know that covers a lot of water. From the grassline to about six feet of water. Again, I know that covers a lot of water. From mid April to mid May. It seems the flats are just alive with all kinds of fish and there are no bad tides.

My problem is I don't have "anytime" as an option....with the job, the kids and the 9000 other things on my "gotta get done" list....my ability to get down to the coast is limited.....that was the reason for my original question, to try and narrow down some high probability times and places to help keep my son interested in fishing

Slayer, I will bet I have less time to go than you. The only thing anyone can tell you is to watch the water temps. They are the key to fish activity as much as anything. 68 degrees to 76 degrees was always when I had my best luck. Spring and Fall in other words. Fishing is a lesson in patience. As good as fishing was when I was a kid, we had a lot more lessons in patience than in fish cleaning.

I have a lot of other interests (duck hunting and turkey hunting) as well as a business to run and family to spend time with. I think there is no set time or place for me, it is just learning what places produce on what tides and time of year. Probably by the time I am gumming my food and can't control my slobber, I will know where, when and how to catch fish and no one will listen to me when I tell them. I say when you can go is the best time. We have had stellar days in every season and terrible days in every season. We launch out of about 7-8 different ramps and there are times they are great and times they stink. Spring is turkey time for me, but also the best fishing. But late summer, early fall is also probably my most successful, cause I am on the water more at that time of year.

How old is your son? Mine is eleven and still has fun catching pinfish when the trout are not cooperating. Some times when the fish are not biting I will take him out to 15' of water and let him catch sharks.
