Shimano Saragosa/Teramar 8000 combos SOLD

Post by silverking »

For the giant killers out there: (2) gently used Shimano Saragosa/Teramar combos. Here are the details.

Shimano Saragosa SRG8000F spinning reels loaded with 300+ yards of 30-pound Power Pro line. These are the heavy-weights of the Shimano spinning reel line, with up to 27 pounds of drag. They have a 5.2:1 gear ratio, five ball bearings and one roller bearing and 36 inches of retrieve per crank. Both reels include a Shimano reel cover that fits over the rod, along with a manual and oil.

The reels are matched to Shimano Teramar TMS-8H graphite composite rods with Fuji components and cork handles. The action is heavy and the rods are 8 feet long. The rods are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

These combos are ideal for live-baiting or jigging for tarpon, cobia, sharks, grouper, amberjack, dolphin, tuna and sailfish. They are in excellent condition.

SOLD
Thanks for looking.

Oh SOOO tempting :smt010 ... it's just that all your stuff appears to be "gently used" and when (if) I get to heaven, I don't want the 72 virgins, I'm looking for those that passed the test! You got any proven gear? :-D

RC--Still using the light stuff for trout/reds. 8- and 10-pound test for clients, 4-pound for me.

BBG, these have busted their cherries. But they've been lovingly cared for afterwards, with bubble baths and fluffy terry towels. On top of that, they have your name all over 'em. Listen... Marine's Dream, Marine's Dream, Marine's Dream.

BBG is a wise jarhead. Guess he thought this old squid was desperate for liberty beer money.

But despite his generous offer, these combos are still up for grabs.

Those big AJs out on the towers are just waiting, and it won't be long before the brown bombers start swimming through...

You get Silverking to swap out the saragosa for thunnus on the teramars and we'll talk. And not that there's a single thing wrong with the saragosas (awesome reels), but you know the lazy kind of baitrunner / hands-off fishing I do. Might be a good purchase for Wolfeman though since he was so slow to run to the baitrunner rods he lost every fish he hooked!

And actually, Bman, I was thinking that as many cobes as we've been catching we need to further man-up and start hand-lining for them. Seriously.

Open invite for you to be the key line-man aboard Marine's Dream... I'll have your back so that after they wear you out I can finish the job of pulling them in.

Bait--live, dead or otherwise--is banned on Fin-esse, so you're SOL on the swap there, BBG.

And it really seems fitting that a newly-crowned social media mogul should own some high-end tackle befitting his status, dontchathink? All he's got to do is skip one shotgun sale or stop expanding his duck boat fleet.

Did I mention it won't be long before his majesty, the silver king, rolls through to wave a tail fin at his lowly subjects?

Dang, if I had known that buying BBF would make me a "social media mogul", I would have bought it! :smt010 And, yeah, Silverking, I'm pretty sure that Bman's now in the top 1% OF THE top 1% living that Guns & Gardens lifestyle so he ought to not only pay full price but also a premium! :smt045

Bman, got to start being more respectful to you now that I know you're the new Rupert Murdoch! And since Tom's ousted, guess he's the new Ted Turner? Just read yesterday that since Ted got unhitched from Jane he keeps 4 babes on the side, spending a week at a time with each so worse folks to be, Tom! :-D Tom, if you see this reckon' you can get us some discount prices at Ted's Montana Grill?! :lick:
