Fishing Orange Muddy Water

I have been fishing at my step dads farm pond up in Thomasville for about 3 years now and I have never seen it the way I saw it today. Bright freakin ORANGE, not a really cool sight, except that I was happy to see that the water level had risen about 3 feet. What had happened was all that rain and wind that we've had for the last few days washed the dirt from the fields into the pond. Looks more like a retention pond now than anything else, which was probably what it was before bass were put in. What I want to know is, has anyone had any experience with or experienced this type of water and is it possible to fish it? Any particular lures that might work? My wife, son(in photo) and I used dark worms and a golden raging shad but no luck, seriously once the lure hit the water it disappeared into the orange abyss.

Spinner bait with a big Colorado or double blade, lots of thump when going through the water. That or a rattle trap. Pretty much anything with big vibration and sound should do the trick.

I HAVE CAUGHT THE LARGEST BASS OF THIS YEAR IN THE ORANGE BOWL, USED A BUZ-BAIT AS FAST AS I COULD REEL IT ACROSS THE TOP OF THE WATER,BASS WEIGHED IN AT 8.6 POUNDS, CAUGHT 5 SMALLER BASS AROUND THE 3-5 POUND AVERAGE.

Exactly.

Biggest loudest thing you can throw....directly at any cover you can find.
They'll be really tight to the cover. Toss a black and blue jig with rattles to stumps and hold on!

Thank you guys so much for the help. Heading back out there in 3 weeks. Hopefully by then it will have cleared, but if not I know what to do! Shiny and Loud!

If none of those suggestions work, put a live shiner under a Cajun Thunder. Don't pop it a lot or you will pull the hook lose from the shiner. I know the bass purists don't like to use live bait, but this has worked every time I have tried it, especially in muddy water.
