Looking for some St. Marks fish

Post by tallykenj »

I was on the east flats yesterday in about 3' along the western edge of the rock garden during the incoming tide in the late morning. Today, I spent the morning on west flats near shore in and around Big Pass in depths from 2' to 4'. Well, on both days my luck wasn't good. I saw a good number of boats moving around causing me to suspect they weren't having much luck either. I was fishing with cut bait (mullet), live shrimp, DOA and Gulp! shrimp on the bottom and under CTs.

Has anyone found out where those rascals are? I'm looking to fish most of next week and I'm hoping for a good time.

Try east, around Aucilla, Econfina. Look for the mullet around the rocks and bars. Remember, rocks and bars = fish. be carefull, go slow fish hard. (do not give up) they will bite. Good luck.
