Short report: Spent the week at SGI, lots of trout fishing with the kids in between the thunderstorms. On tournament day, the Roff's report sent my partner and me to 100 fathoms out of Appalach. Found blue water and the only weedline for miles. Trolled forever with only cudas for our effort. Stopped in 150' on the way in and got a good mess of red snapper to help ease our pain. Bad news- 185 mi round trip, good news, 2.2 mpg on the yammies. Nothing bent, nothing broken. Can't wait 'til next year.

That was bad luck to only find cudas on the weedline, there have been dolphin showing out there.
However, the snappers were more than a consolation. :)

Good deal on the snapper.

Believe it or not we caught dolphin in 50 ft of water out of C-belle this weekend. I think that's pretty close in for those guys....9-10 miles from Dog Island.
