Haven't been able to log on for months...thought I might have been banned but I contacted the new honcho this afternoon and he got me straight.
Fished the last couple of days with the kids and wife at Keaton and we did pretty good. We've been able to eat fresh trout the last 3 nights in a row (tonight being fish tacos ) so I am happy.
Fish seemed to be from 3-6' of water and I never got to pattern a jig color but new penny definitely wasn't popular which was a surprise.
Only got to redfish for about 30 min with no luck.
The trout we had strike wanted a slow presentation.. pop the cork and then let it sit a lot longer than usual.
Same on top water- they would follow it up to the boat without striking.
How about you?

Thanks to Noel, I landed a drunken chopper fish last week. Only took 1 Coors Light to lure him in too Released him back into the wild to fight another day
Sorry man, I couldn't resist
