A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
Saw these and almost got them... Dang they both look good.
Then I remembered how many fish I catch on the old faithfuls.
I tend to go back to the same two lures and catch plenty of fish on them.
I try new stuff only to go back to the basics.
So what do you think- Are the for catching fish or fishermen?

I was in Kevin's Saturday & they had quite a few LiveTarget Lures on the shelf. I'm not sure if they have this particular lure but it'd be worth a call if you're interested in one.
In the words of the great Doc Holliday, "I'll be your huckleberry"
I fought the response but the secret is out these are awesome! As most lures are painted primarily on the top where fish cant see all the pretty colors (looks good to us in the package) these look realistic all the way around, bad a##
bought one a Kevin's a few weeks back. I like the noise, shape and size. I wasn't overly happy with their walk-ability. Probably only made 40-50 casts with it, but have yet to catch a fish. that is way too many casts not to be catching fish; my patience was tried.
In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.

anyone tried any of the yum sweet shrimp...the clear color looks like it would do some serious damage on our flats...watched a tv show with them tearing the trout up in destin...just wondering if anyone here had tried them?
I want to try the LiveTarget wake bait, but at about $15 bucks its hard to risk losing one to a bluefish or smackerel. But I have spent more money on other things, so maybe one day.
I saw the show with the Yum sweet shrimp, they sure did catch the hound out of some trout with them. The show was Bill Dance in Destin. My only problem with anything not a Gulp is how long will they last against the pinfish? But they did look nice.
