Imagin that a redtrout getting cancelled/postponed I don't think it has happened on the planned date but once. I tried to tell my partner that we should go to the down town get down because this would happen.haha

For once it is less windy than predicted. It's a little windy but less than 20. See y'all on the water.

Well, the forecast I posted was correct. AGAIN. It was nice all day. Enough wind to keep the flies off the boat. We caught a double limit of nice trout on topwater. Had to use the pushpole to move around. When the wind did blow the GPS measured a point 6mph drift.

Here is a fish caught by Will Thompson today at Fenholloway. You can see the rough water conditions in the picture.
This 27.5 inch trout weighed 6pounds 10ounces.

Will and I thought we would try our luck after the tourney cancelation and see what we could have done. As you can see we had a great day of fishing and weather :-? . This was Will's best trout ever. He also caught two over slot reds and one @ 24 1/2 that most likley would have put us in the money @ the tournament. Total of 3 trout and 3 reds and I had a great time being the net man for my son. Could not have ask for a better way to spend the day.

Rc and I fished as well. 5 trout over 20 up to 25. Largest red was 28. A little choppy but nice overall
In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.
