CHOPPY must be one of those relative terms.
To me,choppy is when the waves are breaking over and whitecapping.
We had no chop at Lanark.

Forgot to mention that we saw a very large number of kayak fisherman and fisherladies today participating in the FCKA tourney. Also a lot of non tournament boats on the flats and standing room only at the boat ramp.

Agree. We went anyways. Did not have a stellar day, but boated a decent red and a decent trout and left with 3 hours to upgrade-we left before the tide started falling again (we would have missed last years payout by a pound). We did better last week, but not on the reds. Was never uncomfortable and was not all that windy. I understand the powers making the call when a small craft advisory went up. What sucks is the next month is almost booked for my Saturdays.
Ducks, turkeys, flats fishing. Who has time for golf?
