got skunked today at st marks

Post by mbweimar »

took the boat out about 5pm today and fished the tide creeks around st marks...3 gators ran me out of one creek and a manatee followed me around in another...not one fish to speak of. but i did get a pretty sunset and the water was smooth as glass once the sun set.

There you go! Can't be all bad! Glad you saw something good. Catching a few fish isn't the end of the world but ain't it fun!

I've never had much luck fishing in the evenings for trout or reds. Morning through mid afternoon seems to be better for me for some reason. Now freshwater I love to fish in the evenings.
