A guy emailed me saying he heard a BigBendFishing person might have found this canoe they lost off Dog Island

Hello,
We have lost a Mad River 15ft RED canoe. A construction worker reportedly spotted the canoe off Dog Island not too long ago and we would very much appreciate any information leading to it's recovery. There were 2 fishing poles and a pair of water shoes in the canoe as well. It was lost during the first week of January, 2012. Please call Daniel at 850.339.5414 or respond to this post with any information. $200 reward if found. Thank you very much for any help!

Thought that a kayak was found there,not a canoe ?

It may be impounded down at the FWC yard. If they found a canoe with watershoes and gear in it drifting back in January, I would think they would start searching for bodies.
