First success at St. Marks

Post by tryingtocatch »

Don't let 70% rain stop you from fishing. :D Me and my buddy fished Saturday morning first on the west side because the weather was better over there. Fished 3 ft, caught several trout and landed one spanish. Once the weather got a little better we cruised over to the rock garden area for the first time and caught some keepers there before the weather ran us off. Fished 4ft there. All on popping cork with white gulp. Go get em!

Way to go get em. You get wet at all? We had 45 min of hard rain early then it drove us in at 2:00 (at Ecofina).

Just light rain for about 10 min. Bad weather was east of lighthouse. Then it hit about 1pm.
