NFGFC MAY TOURNAMENT ROLL CALL

The NFGFC Tournament will be May 5th out of St Joe Bay. Anglers
must launch in St Joe Bay. Safe Light is 6:30am.

Registration will be accepted at the meeting on Thursday night or from 5:30 a.m. - 6:15 a.m. at the Port St Joe City Boat Ramp.

Tournament entry fee is $20 per boat for club members or $25 per boat
if a non-member is on the boat. You must have one NFGFC member in good
standing (up to date on dues) on the boat to be eligible to fish the
tournament. Entry forms will be passed out at the meeting and are
available online at www.nfgfc.org



PLEASE BRING YOUR ENTRY FORMS ALREADY FILLED OUT AND EXACT CHANGE FOR
EACH OF THE SIDE POTS. At registration, those who have their forms
already filled out will be registered first.

Teams must be checked in by 3:30 p.m. The weigh-in will begin at 3:45
p.m. and teams will weigh their fish in the order of entry. It is your
responsibility to check in.

Tournament Format- Weigh your best one person limit of trout.
THERE WILL BE A COURTESY MEASURE BEFORE WEIGH-IN.


SIDE POTS:
- Big Trout - $5 per person, everyone on the boat must participate to win.
-Redfish - $10 per person, weigh one legal Redfish, everyone on the boat must participate to win
-Red/Trout combo- $10 per boat, one legal Red fish and one Trout
.
Kevin’s Fine Guns and Sporting Goods will continue to offer a $50.00 gift certificate for the biggest Flounder at each North Florida Gulf Fishing Club Tournament for 2012. They will also be awarding the Junior Angler of the year.


Meridian Surveying & Mapping is sponsoring the mystery fish. The mystery fish is worth $50. In addition, if you are a SEA TOW member and win the mystery fish pot SEA TOW will be adding another $50. Mystery fish will be announced at the meeting.

If the weather looks to be bad that weekend will we know by Thurday weather or not we are having it so we can cancel any room reservations we have? And still have time to sign up for the Optimist .

I won't make the tourney. Fished SJB both days this weekend though and there are lots of nice trout to catch already. Caught some flounders and reds too, but couldn't get to the reds I wanted to chase b/c of the winds. Ya'll should have another good one at SJB.
In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.

Not going to make the meeting thurs. No pre-registering , unless you catch me friday night at Port St Joe. If not, I will see you at the city ramp saturday morning.
