Econfina

Left the house this morning with the wife for an outing at Econfina. We put in around 11:45 and headed east a few miles to spot #1, one short trout. made a few drifts in and around the bars with not so much as a nibble. Shirley was using a cork with shrimp and not doing any better. Around 2:30 the wind started to pick up a bit so we headed back towards Econfina and set up on a few drifts and on my second cast I get cut off by something, (spanish?), made another short drift then headed home to get ready for tomorrow. Whatever that brings. A gentelman at the boat ramp gave us a nice red for supper. . Looking forward to the next outing.

We do like to catch fish but a day on the water with your honey is about as good as it gets. Maybe next time.

That was nice of the person to give you the red.

All and all a good experience.
