Looked at the weather fri for saturday while at work. Texted my wife about going fishing. A little later she texted back saying that a friend of my son's would like to come and that we could go. WOO HOO love that woman 
So we get to the ramp at 7:30 and head out. There were a ton of boats already there and getting ready to launch. Saw Rhtfish's truck in his reserved spot. Went over by Hickory mound and started fishing. Lots of shorts and a keeper here and there. Then my son's friend caught this shark(his 1st)
Uploaded with ImageShack.usThe water was incredibly clear everywhere. The temp was 69-73 degrees. We even saw scallops, really ... live scallops in several places. About the time I was going to suggest moving my wife caught this 21" pig of a trout.
Uploaded with ImageShack.us We fished 3-8' of water and worked hard for a decent box but never tore them up. There was no wind and hardly any drift out there today which i think made it harder to catch them. Had a great day on the water with my family and caught supper to boot.
