Where to stay? Port St. Joe/ Carrabelle

Post by Aquamaholic »

Looking to stay Two nights somewhere at the end of May.

Will be a fishing trip so it does not have to be super nice :D

I will be bringing my flats boat so places with good parking and an area to wash the boat would be great.

Thinking maybe the Mainstay Suites in PSJ, any opinions on it? Or better options (in roughly the same price range)?

Thanks!

In carabelle I really like the the moorings. It's on the water and pretty nice. My wife likes it. The fwc docks there so be safe.

Mainstay in St Joe area. St Joe Bay is my favorite fishing area.

Dixie Bell is a fishing motel but was decent last time I stayed there.

Thanks Guys!

Booked a room at Mainstay. Now the hard part... waiting for my days off!

Me and the family usually rent a house on the Cape every June; its just not in the cards this year.

Me and my dad are gonna get our SJB fishing fix in any way!
